Meet the therapist
Hi, my name is Faith Goins, LCSW, LISW.
I’m a trauma-informed therapist based in Tennessee and additionally licensed in Ohio and Colorado. I offer mindfulness-based, online therapy for adults navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and past trauma.
I became a therapist because I believe in people’s capacity to heal — not just survive, but truly come alive. I know how easy it is to lose connection with yourself after pain, trauma, or burnout. My role is to walk with you through that process of reconnection, offering presence, perspective, and practical support along the way.
My style is engaged, intuitive, and deeply attuned. I don't just sit back and nod — I’m with you, tracking the patterns, helping you make sense of things, and offering tools that fit your life. I hold a nonjudgmental space where all of you is welcome — even the parts you’ve kept hidden.
My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches like cognitive therapy and mindfulness, but I also bring in values-based reflection, nervous system education, and a trauma-informed lens. I believe therapy should feel real, human, and rooted in respect.
Outside the therapy room, I find joy in quiet mornings, time in nature, and caring for my animals. My own practices of stillness, connection, and reflection are part of what I bring to my work — not as advice, but as a way of being.
If you’re looking for a therapist who’s present, thoughtful, and action-oriented, I’d love to meet you. You're not meant to carry it all alone.
